Instructor: Laurel Storey, CZT (Certified Zentangle Teacher)
This class will introduce students to the Zentangle technique of filling variously-shaped grid structures with a series of pattern fragments to create a larger design. Students will learn how to combine and manipulate different fragments to create unique patterns, coming away with an almost limitless supply of creative possibilities to apply to their Zentangle artwork. In addition to gaining an understanding of reticula and fragments, students will apply the technique in class to create their own one-of-a-kind “Zenbutton” on a tan or grey paper tile.
This is an ONLINE class, which will be hosted on Zoom and taught by Laurel Storey, CZT. Registered students are not required to have a Zoom account in order to participate; however, they must have the Zoom app installed on their computer or mobile device.
Students will responsible for obtaining their own supplies prior to the start of class. A suggested supply list (including alternative options) will be sent to registered students via e-mail, along with information on how to access the class.
Students in Windsor, Ontario and area are welcome to order supplies (as available) from Laurel and arrange a mutually convenient pickup time (non-contact) prior to class.
